Booking & Insurance
What it costs, and who takes what.
Coverage isn't the same for every clinician here — so we've laid it out plainly rather than giving you one list that might not apply to you. And if you're still not sure, the first fifteen minutes are free.
Free 15-minute consultation
Before you commit to anything, you can talk to us for fifteen minutes at no cost. Ask about coverage, ask whether we're the right fit, ask what a first session actually looks like. All three of our clinicians offer this.

Coverage by clinician
We're in-network with most major Minnesota plans — but not every clinician is paneled with every plan. Find your plan, then book with someone who takes it.

A dash isn't a no. It means that clinician isn't currently paneled with that plan. Call us — there may be an option we can work out, including seeing someone else on the team who is.
No insurance? Out of network?
Neither one closes the door.
- Self-pay. We keep out-of-pocket costs low for patients without insurance. Call and we'll tell you exactly what it would be.
- Superbills. If you're out of network, we can provide a superbill you submit to your insurer for reimbursement.
- HSA and FSA. Both accepted.
Payment methods we accept:
Minnesota only
We can provide care and prescribe in Minnesota, and only in Minnesota. That's a licensing rule.
For telehealth, this means you must live in Minnesota and be physically in Minnesota at the time of your appointment — not visiting family out of state, not traveling for work. If you're going to be elsewhere, tell us and we'll reschedule.
We cannot accept BadgerCare or any Wisconsin Medicaid plan. We're licensed in Minnesota, not Wisconsin.
Common questions
How do I know what I'll actually owe?
It depends on your plan — your copay, whether you've met your deductible, and how your plan handles behavioral health. The most reliable answer comes from calling the member services number on the back of your card and asking about outpatient mental health coverage. Then call us and we'll help you make sense of what they told you.
My plan takes some of you but not the one I want to see.
Call us. Sometimes there's a workaround, sometimes seeing a different clinician on the team is the right answer, and sometimes it's genuinely a problem. We'd rather tell you honestly on the phone than have you find out from a bill.
Is TMS covered?
Most major plans cover TMS for major depressive disorder, though nearly all require documentation that medications have been tried first. We handle the prior authorization with your plan and tell you what your coverage looks like before you commit to anything. See TMS.
What do I bring to my first appointment?
Insurance card, photo ID, and a way to pay any copay or deductible. Full walkthrough on the New Patients page.
Fifteen minutes, free, no obligation.
Insurance is confusing by design. Call us and we'll help you figure out where you stand before you book anything.
